BBR rescues predominantly brachycephalic (flat faced) breeds, such as English Bulldogs, American Bulldogs, French Bulldogs, Pugs, Mastiffs and numerous other “bully breed” dogs.
Our mission is to use our collective knowledge and experience to help our dogs develop trust, learn desired behaviours, and heal (physically & emotionally).
Jeremy Hall, President & Founder
Our goal is to provide the care and time needed to prepare unwanted animals for placement and to help them find responsible, committed, and loving new homes.
Our rescue dogs come from owner surrenders, local shelters, high-kill shelters, and even some puppy mill survivors. We do our best to find each of these dogs the most suitable home based on their specific needs. We are deeply devoted to educating the public about force-free science based training methods, dog behaviour, body language, and nutrition. We are passionate about discrediting the many myths that come along with rescue dogs, bully breeds, and the use of aversive training methods.

Help us fill our fosters bellies’ this fall by purchasing a small or large bag of food for one of our pups!
All of our dogs immediately get a vet check up, updated shots, and are spayed/neutered- however due to the nature of rescue we also end up with many dogs that require more expensive treatments or surgeries.
Every single penny (remember pennies??) spent on BBR gear goes to our dogs. Support a great cause and look good doing it!
